Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between K–1 Foundations and K–2 Core Academics?
K–1 Foundations is a separate Little LILLIES classroom focused specifically on foundational skill-building — phonics, handwriting, fine motor, early numeracy — through the science of reading and deliberate, paced instruction. K–2 Core Academics (Tu/Th) is a multi-subject, multi-age session with older peers covering ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies. A child can do both through the K–1 Foundations Academic or Complete add-on tiers.
Can my child do both Little LILLIES and K–9 Hybrid Homeschool?
Yes — K–1 Foundations families can add on Tuesday/Thursday Core Academic sessions, which means their child joins the K–2 Hybrid Homeschool group. This is exactly what the Academic and Complete add-on tiers are designed for. Little LILLIES ELC (ages 3–5) is a standalone program and does not cross-enroll into K–9 academics.
What is Edmentum Exact Path and how is it used?
Edmentum Exact Path is a diagnostic-driven personalized learning platform used in Math and Reading. At LILLY, it is used during Monday/Wednesday group tutoring sessions to provide targeted, individualized skill practice with a teacher present. Complete tier families also receive at-home access, allowing children to continue their personalized learning path outside of LILLY. Grades 6+ also receive Edmentum Courseware for standards-aligned coursework. Note: We are transitioning from Mia Academy to Edmentum Exact Path for 2026–27.
Is lunch provided?
No — lunch is not provided by LILLY. All Complete-tier families (and K–1 families staying for enrichment) bring a packed lunch from home. Lunch timing varies by day: Monday/Wednesday 11:40 AM–12:15 PM, Tuesday/Thursday 12:00–12:40 PM. Outdoor time is included weather permitting.
Are there programs on Fridays?
Fridays are exclusively for Little LILLIES programs (ELC and K–1 Foundations), running 9 AM–12 PM. There is no K–9 Hybrid Homeschool programming on Fridays. Once a month, Fridays are designated Community Field Trip days — no programming for any group on those Fridays.
What are the age/grade requirements and birthday deadlines?
ELC (Early Learning Co-Op): Child must be age 3–5 with a birthday on or before September 30 of the enrolled school year. Children must also be fully potty trained. K–1 Foundations: Child must be in Kindergarten or 1st grade with a birthday on or before September 30. K–9 Hybrid Homeschool: Open to Grades K–9 (up to 10th grade).
What does PEP cover and how do I apply?
The Personalized Education Program (PEP), administered by Step Up for Students, provides approximately $4,000 per semester. This fully covers 6 of our 9 program tiers. To apply, visit stepupforstudents.org and select the PEP program. Once approved, notify LILLY and we will guide you through the rest. Families with remaining balances after PEP may apply for the Waymaker Scholarship — reach out to programs@lillyedu.org privately.
What is the volunteer hour requirement?
All Little LILLIES families (ELC and all K–1 Foundations tiers) contribute 10 volunteer hours per household per semester. Opportunities include: classroom support, Field Trip Organizer & Leader, LILLY Classroom Parent, Facebook Group Admin, substitute teaching, front desk/reception coverage, LILLY Parent Ambassador, community garden, and community event support. Sign-up details and available slots are provided at enrollment.

Supporting Every Learner
AROS — Adaptive Routes of Support

LILLY's AROS team is a dedicated part of our staff whose purpose is to support students with diverse learning needs — including learning differences, social-emotional considerations, and communication or physical accommodations. They work alongside our teaching staff to ensure every student's experience at LILLY is safe, structured, and designed for their success.

For families with questions specific to student support services, reach our AROS team at aros@lillyedu.org.

The Program Interest Form includes a section to share information about your child's learning needs — this helps us connect your family with a member of our AROS team as part of the enrollment process.
